Hard to believe it's here, travel day is upon us. Packing went well last night with a bit of minor packing this morning. We are good to go to the airport and will be heading out shortly.
We have a short flight to Chicago then a layover of about 41/2 hours then to Beijing tonight. It seems weird to have everything in 2 suitcases and 2 backpacks for a 15 day trip.
The kids seem excited, but we know they will miss us and we will miss them. Both will have a good time while we are gone. However we will be excited to come home and introduce them to their new brother.
Got to love imessage, email and Skype to keep us connected.
5 days till we meet David. Can't help but wonder how much he and his friends understand that we are finally coming. I am anxious to here about their trip on the train and what his thoughts are when we are finally together.
Well, we are off to the airport, if I have time...I will write more.
